Citizen Advisory Board


The Police Advisory Board is a group of citizens who serve in an advisory role to the Chief of Police. The Chief selects people who he believes have an active interest in law enforcement matters within the city. Diverse interests and beliefs are represented by members of the committee.

These members address police matters with the Chief once a month. Topics of interest include policy formation, valuable feedback from the community, and future planning.

Currently the committee has the following members:

Angie Surratt
Jacque Valentine

Beryl Terry
James Dunlap
