The Police Department works alongside the residents of North Plains to reduce crime, or the fear of crime. Our current staff consists of 1 full time officer and 4 reserve officers. We pride ourselves in providing quality public service.

While we do not yet employ enough full time police officers to provide 24 hour coverage to the City, we have reached an agreement with our neighboring agencies to provide coverage in the City for any priority calls. If you require emergency response, please call 911. If the nature of your call is more routine, please call the non-emergency dispatch number of (503) 629-0111.
