The City of North Plains Public Works Department will provide sand bags to those residents in need of them for ground water redirection.  Sand bags may be obtained by calling City Hall at (503) 647-5555 to provide a time frame for pick up of the sand bags.  Sand bags may be retrieved at the City Water Reservoir located on the corner of NW 321st Avenue and NW Commercial Street.  The sand bags are self serve - citizens may utilize the provided shovel, sand, bags and ties to fill their sand bags for usage.
