North Plains monthly newsletters for the past 6 months are available below.  For information, the City of North Plains City Council elected to discontinued the City Newsletter for the period of September 2009 through December 2009 and instead have the information printed in The Beacon.  Newsletter information will continue to be printed in The Beacon as space allows.

National Night Out

Please plan to attend the City's National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Jessie Mays Community Hall, 31360 NW Commercial Street, North Plains.

Poster

The North Plains Police Department and Washington County Sheriff's Office will be on hand to provide information about Kid Care ID and will provide free photo and fingerprinting of children.

The North Plains Public Works Department and Washington County Fire District #2 will have an equipment display and provide water conservation, leak detection and safety information.

The Knights of Pythias Lodge #22 have generously donated bicycle helmets for distribution to children during this event.

Refreshments will be available including hot dogs, otter pops and cake.
