I joined the City in December 2021.

What do you do in your role for the City?
I manage payroll and employee benefits, accounts payable, and the day-to-day accounting for the City. I also oversee the utility billing program and provide administrative support to all our departments.

What do you like best about your job?
I enjoy the variety of tasks that land on my desk and that I get to collaborate with different departments.

What is your typical workday like?
A typical day involves regular recurring tasks (payroll, AP) as well as other projects as they arise. No two days are alike and that keeps things interesting!

I serve because...
I want to improve the way residents interact with their local government agencies.

What I love about North Plains is...
That it is growing, and the City is planning for the future of the town and its residents to ensure that the community continues to thrive.

What do you like to do when you're not at work?
You can catch me camping or spending weekends at the coast with my husband and dog in our Airstream, kayaking various lakes and rivers, and creating all sorts of awesome things in my sewing studio.
