The YMCA, in partnership with the City of North Plains, offered three weeks of sports camps this summer for youth ages 5-12.

These are some of the first summer sports camps offered in the City, and are a direct result of community requests and the City's work to expand parks and recreation offerings here in  North Plains. 

"We heard from community that these opportunities are wanted and needed, and we hope to continue to expand recreational offerings right here in North Plains," said City Manager Andy Varner. 

The city adopted a Parks and Open Space Master Plan in December of 2018 and updated it in 2020. The Plan establishes a road map for providing high quality, community-driven parks, trails, open spaces and recreation opportunities across North Plains.
