The city adopted its Parks and Open Space Master Plan in December of 2018 and updated it in 2020. The new Plan (below) establishes a road map for providing high quality, community-driven parks, trails, open spaces and recreation opportunities across North Plains.

Citizen input is crucial to make sure park and open space goals and priorities are consistent with local community needs and interests. The City would like to thank everyone that participated in the open house meetings and other events where they could voice their opinions on what they would like to see with regards to the future of the parks and open spaces in North Plains.

The city updated it's Parks CIP in July 2020
